As Senior Editor for Inner Weather 2005, I initiated the reformat of the entire publication away from the standard academic form of 8 ½ x 5 ½inches. The new page size provides adequate space for the optimum display of both horizontal and vertical images. Short stories were treated with a two-column text block while the poetry could still be placed utilizing the entire page width when needed. Inner Weather is a student run publication sponsored by the English Department at the University of Northern Iowa.
