"Storm Brewin' " is a part a series of photographs documenting the history of rural America. This particular afternoon, in western Black Hawk County, Iowa a tornado touched down five miles east of this farm. The left edge of the cloud shows both a rainbow and the beginning of the waterspout that may have become the tornado.
